The History of Demons | Ars Goetia Part 2

We're back, I told you I'd be back with part two of the Ars Goetia and its listing of the demon hierarchy. Last week we looked at the kings of hell, and the next logical step is the next rung down the ladder, which just happens to be... The Dukes of Hazard! I mean, Hell, the Dukes of Hell. Now, there are a lot of these guys. 23 to be exact. It's one of the most populated categories listed, and seems a bit excessive, but who am I to judge? 

We look at a couple of demons who we've talked about in the past, such as Astaroth, but there are a lot new ones here, and most of them are pretty metal too. There's one demon who appears as an old pale man riding a crocodile, which is bad ass in a Floridian sort of way. 

As with the kings, each of these demons holds domain over something, can grant some kind of knowledge, and holds power over a certain number of legions. Despite being many, these class of demons are nothing to shake a stick at. They're very powerful, especially in the right hands.
