Deathly Personifications: Hel

In this episode of the podcast I continue my look into the various personifications of death; today we look at Hel, from the Norse Mythology. Hel, as her name suggests is also the ruler of the realm of the same name, and she's attributed to gathering a portion of the souls who've died, with the rest being distributed through other afterlife's. Personifications of Death: The Celts

In this episode of the podcast, I continue my look into how various cultures around the world personify death; today's look is at the Celtic region of Europe, which means Wales, Ireland, and Scotland. We look at everything from the Banshee, to the origins of the headless horseman. The History of Demons: Samael

In this return episode of the podcast (after a way too long hiatus), I look at the history of yet another demon... or is he an angel? Welcome to the complicated world of Samael. Some call him the angel of death, other God's left hand. Some depict him as an evil entity involved with Lilith, others far less evil. Life Imitating Art: The Necronomicon

In this episode of the podcast I look at how life has a tendency to imitate art. From people worshiping things that are pure creations of a brilliant mind to... well just things they read on the internet. Today's look is at the Necronomicon, a creation of H.P. Lovecraft.
