Hel, as her name suggests is also the ruler of the realm of the same name, and she's attributed to gathering a portion of the souls who've died, with the rest being distributed through other afterlife's. Personifications of Death: The Celts

In this episode of the podcast, I continue my look into how various cultures around the world personify death; today's look is at the Celtic region of Europe, which means Wales, Ireland, and Scotland. The History of Demons: Samael

In this return episode of the podcast (after a way too long hiatus), I look at the history of yet another demon... or is he an angel? Welcome to the complicated world of Samael. Some call him the angel of death, other God's left hand. Some depict him as an evil entity involved with Lilith, others far less evil. Hell Gates!

In this triumphant return to podcasting I take a look at various places believed to be Hell Gates. What's a Hell Gate? Well, they are places believed to have, at one point or another, lead straight into the pits of Hell, or some type of afterlife. It's super interesting, and I even found a great list on gizmodo.com about it. It was all sparked from reading an article about Mel's Hole, which is also really quite fascinating.
